This area holds a list of the ‘books’ (ie pdfs) that have been created from time to time from the database

Most of the books held here are not complete, although the catalogues are in a useable state. The books represent the state of the database at the time they were created. The database is constantly being updated so the books may gradually become out of sync with the database itself. The plan is to issue further editions of the books from time to time.

The reason for creating the books is so that when the electronic database is no longer available, these printed copies, which obviously represent only a part of the complete database, will, at least, still exist. The many thousands of photos will disappear once the database no longer exists.
