India 1835 to 1840 – William IV – Quarter Anna Mule

As with the half anna denomination, a mule exists between the obverse of a Bombay Presidency quarter anna and the reverse of an 1835 dated quarter anna of the uniform coinage style. Pridmore suggests that it was prepared in 1846/47 when Bombay started minting the uniform copper coinage
