Wiggins reported the discovery of a mohur struck in the name of Muhammad
Shah [1], and
with the mint name Chinapatan. He discussed the date of the coin, which appears
to be RY 3 (1721/22). However, this would be too early for the known fact that
the EIC records show that the first 10,000 mohurs were ordered in 1743. Wiggins
therefore suggests that the date is a poorly struck 26 (٢٦) with part of the
6 off the flan.
