Bhandare who wrote: Recently while I was in ANS, New York, I photographed another piece very similar is style and fabric to the Bengalur paisa, but having a double obverse (see my folder in 'Photos'). This seems like a pattern / trial strike run in the mint while it was still being set up. The coin weighs 13.13 gm and is ex-Valentine Collection.
