Royal Mint, London – Copper, One Pice 1824 to 1825

The one pice denomination was also only issued in 1825. There are a number of reverse varieties associated with the diacritical marks on the reverse of the coin, and one strange piece that is probably a local copy.

 

The arms of the Company with the date below. All within a raised toothed rim.

The value in Persian (= Yek pai) with a value numeral above and the AH year below. All within an open wreath surrounded by a raised, toothed rim.
