As for Monghyr, there is an article by H N Wright in JASB-NS 4, 1904 that makes the mention of two 'Mungir' rupees, found in a hoard at Ghorati in Manbhum dist, Bihar. One coin is illustrated as a line-drawing. Apart from this, I seem to recall another article in a subsequent volume of NS which describes the circumstances in which some of these coins were struck by the EICo… (from Shailen)
