Mewār – Pseudo mint name Shāhjahānābād – INO Ahmad Shah Bahadur, Silver

The Rupees of Ahmad Shah Bahadur of Shāhjahānābād mint served as a prototype for early currencies of Rajput states of Eastern Rajasthan such as Mewār. Although it has not yet been possible to distinguish these coins are products of different mints, Bhilwara is the most likely place where they might have been produced. Chītor and Udaipur are the other two possibilities.(Taken from ClassNG)
