issues of Akbar, the present coin has previously been attributed to Jahangir,
despite that it is undated, except for the Ilahi month. Ref.: Lucknow Museum

unlikely that the month is Isfadarmuz (as earlier suggested), but Shailendra
Bhandare presumes that the month may read 'Mordad', which is a variant for
'Amardad'. It is usually inscribed as مرداد but
the way it is pronounced, مورداد is
