Moghul Empire – Farrukh Siyar – Tatta Mint, Silver – Type 1, ṣāhib qirān Couplet

For a relatively short reign, the Tatta coins of Farrukhsiyar show a lot of variations. The first issue is with a unique couplet which is not met with on any other coins of the ruler, incorporating a unique title: 'Thalith Sahib Qiran' or the "Third Lord of Auspicious Conjunction". This counts from Timur Gurgan (Timurlang) being the first lord, Shahjahan the second lord and Farrukhsiyar being the third (from Shailen Bhandare)
