al-sulṭān al-a’ẕam ‘alā’ al-dunyā wa al-dīn abū  sulṭān      shāh al-muẕaffar mas‘ūd bin (= The supreme Sulṭān exalted of the world and the faith, father of the conqueror, Mas’ūd Shāh son of Sulṭān).

The legend in a double square: fī ‘ahd al-imām al-mustanṣir bi’llāh amīr al-mū’minīn sanah [date] (= In the time of the Imam al-Mustanṣir who seeks victory in God, leader of the faithful [date]).
