The legend in a large quatrefoil: ghiyāth al-dunyā wa al-dīn abū al-muaffar a’am shāh ibn sikandar shāh ibn ilyās shāh al-sulṭān (= Helper of the world and the faith, father of victory, A’ẕam Shāh, son of Sikandar Shāh, son of Ilyās Shāh, the Sulṭān).

The legend in a square: nāṣir amīr al-mū’minīn ghawth al-islām wa al-muslimīn khallada khilāfatahu (= Defender of the leader of the faithful, helper of Islam and the Muslims, perpetuator of his caliphate). Mint and date possibly in margin but not read.
