The legend in
a scalloped circle: saif al-dunyā
wa al-dīn abū al-mujāhid ḥamzah shāh bin
a’ẕam shāh bin sikandar shāh bin ilyās shāh
al-sulṭān (= sword of the world and the faith, father of the
soldiers of the holy war, Ḥamzah
Shāh son of Sikandar Shāh son of Ilyās Shāh the sultan). |

legend in a quatrefoil made up of concave lines: nāṣir amīr al-mū’minīn ghawth al-islām
wa al-muslimīn khallada mulkahu (= Protector of the leader of the
faithful, helper of islām and the Muslims, perpetuator of his kingdom). Mint and date in margin: ضرب
