The legend in a square: al-sulṭān al-‘ādil nāṣir al-dunyā wa al-dīn abū al-muẕaffar maḥmūd shāh al-sulṭān (= The just sulṭān, protector of the world and the faith, father of the conqueror, Maḥmūd Shāh the sulṭān). In the margins is the legend: khallada allāh mulkahu wa sulṭānahu
