From Stan: The mintmark is noted by Nelson-Wright as his mm 71 and is found on coin 1317 in his catalogue but the coin itself is not illustrated. NW illustrates his coin 1316, which is the same type and has the same mintmark as India Museum Catalogue coin 793. I seem to have merged his coins 1316 and 1317 in G&G (D978) though on more careful study, the coin illustrated in G&G is slightly different. These coins are Jahanpanah types, Jahanpanah being in the obverse left margin. Bottom margin: Abu’l Muzaffar, top margin: Jalal al-Dunya; right margin: wa al-Din. I don’t know whether such a coin as yours has been published anywhere or has appeared in an auction catalogue. I have not been noting Suri coin varieties since I published the book. There isn’t one on the Zeno database. You may like to ask Paul Stevens if he has noted one.
