The following was stated: It was in 1954 that the first coin of this mint was recorded by C.R. Singhal. This is the only second specimen that has come to light since then. This mint has been identified with the city of the same name that Ghiyath-al-Din Tughluq built south of old Dehli. This place was elaborately decorated and Ulugh Khan (Muhammad III bin Tughluq) had prepared a welcome for his father by building a kiosk, where he might take rest and refreshment after his long journey from Tirhut. This event happened in 725 AH when Tughluq I was murdered and Muhammad III stayed at that place for forty days before he went to Delhi for his coronation. Five years later this coin was struck in recognition of an important event which is unknown to history.	RRR
