Māngarh type coins are mainly found in the Punjab-Haryana areas. There's a
good chance that the mint is located either in Indian or Pakistani Punjab.
There's a village named Māngarh near Ludhiana and the area around it has been of some historical importance. Malot in the
same region was a Sūrī mint for copper.
The Mangarh near Allahabad is of a modern religious importance,
due to a 20th century religious figure called Kripalu Maharaj. I am not aware
if it had any religious significance in historic times.
