The legend in a square: al-mu’ayyad bi-ta ‘yid al-raḥmān ghiyāth al-dunyā wa al-dīn abū al-muẕaffar a’ẕam shāh al-sulṭān khallada allāh mulkahu (=Victorious in the support of the merciful, helper of the world and the faith, A’ẕam Shāh the sulṭān, perpetuator of the kingdom of Allah). Four Caliphs in margins:

أبو بكر، علي، عثمان، عمر

The legend in a square: nāṣir al-islām wa al-muslimīn yamīn amīr al-mū’minīn khallada allāh mulkahu ḍuriba ‘arṣah (= Defender of Islam and the Muslims, right-hand of the faithful, perpetuator of the kingdom of Allah, struck at ‘Arṣah). Margin may contain the date but has not been read.
