As with Patna, Dakka
appears to have changed the style of the rupee to look more like that of
Murshīdābād, before finally starting to produce more precise
copies of the Murshīdābād sicca. Only coins of RY 10 are known and they show half a sun and a moon on the obverse and
a flower on the reverse, but retain the mint name Jahāngīrnagar. A
nazarana rupee in the BM shows just a moon on the obverse, more like the
Murshīdābād coins.

under the authority of the British from 1770 to 1772, seem to be
indistinguishable from coins minted at Calcutta (see Calcutta
