Dakka (Jahangirnagar) Mint – Hammered Coinages – Silver Rupee – Shāh ‘Ālam II – 1769/70

As with Patna, Dakka appears to have changed the style of the rupee to look more like that of Murshīdābād, before finally starting to produce more precise copies of the Murshīdābād sicca. Only coins of RY 10 are known and they show half a sun and a moon on the obverse and a flower on the reverse, but retain the mint name Jahāngīrnagar. A nazarana rupee in the BM shows just a moon on the obverse, more like the Murshīdābād coins.

Dakka Mint – Hammered Coinages – Silver, Shāh ‘Ālam II – 1770 to 1772

The silver coins issued from the Dakka mint, under the authority of the British from 1770 to 1772, seem to be indistinguishable from coins minted at Calcutta (see Calcutta and also Comments below).

Dakka (Jahāngirnagar) Mint – Hammered Coinages – Gold Mohur – Shāh ‘Ālam II – 1782

The Dacca mint was briefly re-opened in 1782 and a few gold coins were produced. They probably had the mint name Jahāngīrnagar and the fixed RY 19. Other than that, the design and dates are not known.
