Berries in wreath

The number of berries in the wreath may vary. There are three varieties of the 34 berry variety with different berries missing. There seem to be endless discussions on Facebook about the number of berries. See photos.

Leaf group

The second inner leaf group at the top right of the wreath may look like a flower bud (Bud) or like two leaves (Leaf).

Privy Mark

There may be a crescent privy mark (cresc) on the left bow of the ribbon, a tiny v privy mark (v) or no privy mark. The crescent and v can easily be worn away. Much has been made of a possible letter I or M Lower on the ornamentation but I’m not sure. See photos and discussion.

Date Digits

The date digits may be large or small

NB KM tries to use size of diamonds as a differentiating point but I haven’t found this to be consistently useful.
